Xmas Eve

This is a photo I ran across on a music blog somewhere along the line. It is a scan of an insert from a 45 rpm record (an e.p.) released in the 1980's (1982 I believe). The band is Xmas Eve - a Bay Area punk band. (Jerome Capers, Eric Capers and Bruce Rayburn).

Ok, the reason why I am posting this is because I took it. I am always proud and pleased to see some photo I took on the net. Who wouldn't be?
I have a lot of photos from that day in the California desert.

If you'd like to see Xmas Eve live visit my main site eclypso.com

as for the pic itself, apologies if there were no credits. i didn't know it was from you. but now i am gonna write it down. and for sure -and if you don't mind-, i will add a link to your great blog and website.
by the way, do you give me permission to put one pic more of xmas eve in their blog entry?

Hi edu,

Yes...it was all so very cool and special. I'm glad I was young then and there!

Notice on the insert the band said "Thanks to:" I am "Cathy" back then - so I'm credited on there :-)

And sure, go ahead and use any of my photos you like. If you go to my site and go into the "About" section you will find an email address - email me and I can send you some exclusive to only you photo if you like :-)

I'll let you know about the book. It will be on either Blurb or Lulu - haven't decided yet. I'm getting there and it won't be long.

BTW - I love your site as well and will be visiting often. I will be linking to you as well.

Please do me a favor - if you hear from Bruce again - tell him about the photos on my site and say hi! :-)

thx

Hi Bruce,

Glad to have "met up" with you again. I just sent you an email. I don't check in as often as I should...hence the delay.

Hi there,
I knew Eric Capers when I lived in in San Francisco in 1986. I just read very sad news about their sister who was very dear to Eric and Jerome(altho' I didn't know Jerome personally). I am Rosemary and I live in Dublin Ireland and I used to have one of those singles( cover insert). ...Oh such brilliant memories of a mispent youth/adulthood!!!!!
Would love to hear from Eric Capers...
I have kids 'n all, now and it is so great to have the memories of those days on bikes in..San Fran.. Coronado, ..San Diego, John in LA. Lynnee and Celeste......
